STNA Classes Kirtland, OH

State Tested Nursing Assistants (STNAs) provide the bulk of patient care in long-term care facilities. They work closely with residents, performing vital tasks under the supervision of a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN). Their duties include but are not limited to assisting residents with personal care such as bathing, dressing, and toileting, preparing and serving meals, measuring and recording vital signs, monitoring patients for changes in their physical or mental health, changing linens, emptying bedpans, and setting up medical equipment.
