CNA Classes Fresno, CA

Certified nursing assisting is an ideal way to transition into a career in nursing. Doctors and registered nurses depend on their CNAs to execute routine tasks that are critical to patients’ care and comfort. In hospitals, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities, a CNA is a communication liaison between patients and senior staff. Their time spent in the company of patients places them in a key position to observe and relay information to doctors and nurses. To become a Certified Nursing Assistant in California, you must enroll in a state-approved approved training program comprising of at least 75 hours in the classroom and 100 hours in a supervised clinical setting. Upon successful completion of the program, you will be eligible to take the nurse aide competency exam for placement on the California Nurse Aide Registry.
