Online CNA Classes Dallas, TX

Online Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) programs are fast becoming the norm in the new era on social distancing. Texas State has granted approval to nurse aide training providers to offer nurse aide programs online with the clinical component facilitated on campus in well-equipped simulation labs. This new measure means you can prepare for certification as a nurse aide with ease. Though many programs are self-paced, you must complete the distance learning option on an established schedule to complete the on-campus requirements, which may require up to four days attendance. Upon completion of the program, the state Nurse Aide Exam will be administered as usual to determine your eligibility for certification. As a CNA, you will help patients with their healthcare needs under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed vocational nurse.

Legacy Career Institute

Legacy Career Institute gives students the option to take CNA classes online due to the current COVID pandemic. The theoretical instruction will be conducted via distance learning. Course topics include basic nursing skills, medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, infection control, range of motion exercises, personal hygiene, feeding and nutrition, communication, and mental health. Legacy offers three scheduling options. Weekday classes meet from Monday through Friday from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm for 3 weeks – new classes begin every Monday. Weekend classes meet Saturday and Sunday 9:30 and 5:30 pm for 6 weeks – new classes begin every weekend. An accelerated class meets Monday to Friday from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm and on Saturday and Sunday from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm for two weeks. A new class starts every Monday.
